Job Overview:
The role of Asistente Técnico ICLA is crucial for the implementation of the Information, Orientation, and Legal Assistance component in line with NRC's programmatic strategy. This position enables NRC to advocate effectively with the Public Ministry, community-based organizations, and other key stakeholders in the territories where protection actions are implemented. The Asistente Técnico ICLA serves as a reference point for supporting victims of armed conflict and individuals in need of international protection. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Asistente Técnico ICLA will be responsible for ensuring compliance with NRC's policies, tools, manuals, and guidelines. Key responsibilities include supporting the implementation of the ICLA project portfolio according to the action plan, executing procedures and activities related to ICLA functions, and maintaining knowledge of ICLA competencies in the operational territory. The role involves organizing and executing tasks based on priorities and standards, contributing to daily problem resolution, preparing reports for ICLA management, and managing information securely in compliance with data protection standards. Specific duties include providing inputs for legal strategy design, implementing information and legal assistance activities for internally displaced persons and vulnerable migrants, fostering community participation in humanitarian emergencies, conducting rapid needs assessments, and coordinating with institutional entities for comprehensive responses. The Asistente Técnico ICLA will also document and follow up on cases, conduct legal assistance activities, facilitate training for public officials and other organizations, and ensure proper documentation and reporting of activities and outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess technical studies or be in the final semesters of a university degree in Law. A minimum of one year of experience as a Technical Assistant in humanitarian contexts is required, along with knowledge of the Colombian state structure and international law. Previous experience in complex and changing contexts is essential, as well as basic knowledge of the English language. Candidates should demonstrate competencies related to the defense of refugee rights in humanitarian and social contexts, experience in providing legal information and assistance, and proficiency in using Office software and databases. Knowledge of international and national regulations related to international protection, refugee status, migration law, and relevant Colombian decrees is highly valued, along with experience in strategic litigation and human rights.

Educational Background:
The position requires candidates to have completed technical studies or be in the final semesters of a university program in Law. This educational background is essential to ensure that the candidate possesses the necessary legal knowledge and skills to effectively assist individuals in need of legal support and advocacy.

Experience:
A minimum of one year of relevant experience in humanitarian assistance contexts is required. Candidates should have experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly refugees, and should be familiar with the challenges faced by these groups in humanitarian settings. Languages:
