Job Overview:
The Líder de equipo de transferencias monetarias is responsible for leading and managing the execution of assigned projects and strategies that utilize cash transfers within NRC's mission. This role requires a strong focus on adapting projects and competencies for the effective and dignified use of cash assistance. The leader will oversee project staff, ensuring compliance with NRC policies and guidelines while promoting the most effective interventions for the most vulnerable participants. The position demands a proactive approach to project management, including daily monitoring of project implementation and ensuring that all activities align with NRC's standards and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Líder de equipo de transferencias monetarias include supervising and managing project staff, implementing action plans throughout the project cycle, and ensuring compliance with NRC policies and guidelines. The leader will conduct daily follow-ups on project progress, ensure that projects target the most vulnerable participants, and explore new and improved methods of cash assistance. Responsibilities also include preparing periodic progress reports, developing the technical capacities of project staff, collaborating with local authorities and stakeholders, and ensuring community participation in program execution. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience in humanitarian contexts, particularly working with vulnerable populations. Experience in cash transfer programs is essential, along with documented results in similar roles. A basic understanding of English is required, and candidates should have a university degree in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields. Specialized experience in cash transfer methodologies and project management is highly valued, as is familiarity with participatory methodologies and community-based approaches.

Educational Background:
A university degree in relevant fields such as Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, or Development Economics is required. Additional specialization or experience related to cash transfer programs is preferred, as well as knowledge of the political and social context affecting the target population and public policies related to cash transfers in Colombia.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least three to four years of technical experience in implementing cash transfer projects, with a strong understanding of the complexities and volatility of humanitarian contexts. Experience in conducting needs assessments, vulnerability classification, and market analysis is also necessary, along with a proven track record of managing teams and projects effectively.

Languages:
Proficiency in Spanish is mandatory, and a basic understanding of English is required. Additional language skills may be considered an asset, particularly in contexts where the target population speaks different languages.
