Job Overview:
The Senior Financial Officer (Engagement Manager) position at the World Bank Group involves significant responsibilities in managing relationships with public asset management clients and external partners. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Financial Officer (Engagement Manager) will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including: leading member institutions in identifying capacity-building initiatives; assisting in advancing individual initiatives at member institutions; training RAMP members on investment policy and portfolio construction; providing technical briefings to investment committees; conducting business outreach to prospective RAMP members; co-leading workshops and preparing presentations; collaborating with colleagues in Treasury and other World Bank units; representing the World Bank and RAMP in high-level engagements; contributing to research reports and blogs; and participating in corporate and member reporting activities. The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and engagements simultaneously, as well as significant international travel.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Senior Financial Officer position should possess advanced degrees in relevant fields such as economics, finance, or financial engineering. They should have at least ten years of relevant experience in senior positions within official sector asset management entities or international development organizations. A strong understanding of investment management, macroeconomic principles, and portfolio theory is essential. Candidates should demonstrate leadership capabilities, ethical standards, and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Excellent writing and communication skills in English are mandatory, with fluency in Arabic, French, or Spanish being highly desirable.

Educational Background:

Experience:
