Job Overview:
The position of Projektleder is crucial for leading a new partnership project aimed at enhancing the well-being and health of expectant parents and families with young children, particularly those from ethnic minority backgrounds. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative interventions and ensuring the professional development of staff and volunteers involved in the project. This role requires a strong background in project development and implementation, as well as experience in partnership collaboration and volunteer management. The project aims to create sustainable initiatives with measurable impacts, focusing on preventive measures and early interventions for pregnant women and families with young children. The project leader will work closely with various stakeholders, including regions, municipalities, and civil society organizations, to ensure the project's success and alignment with its objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Projektleder will be to lead the partnership project according to the funding framework, ensuring overall accountability for the project's progress, goal achievement, and financial management. Key duties include developing interventions and methods for identifying and supporting families within the target group, establishing new interdisciplinary collaboration models between Dansk Flygtningehjælp and Mødrehjælpen, and fostering partnerships with various stakeholders. The project leader will also be responsible for ensuring the project's organizational anchoring regarding methods, approaches, and documentation. Collaboration with external evaluators for data collection, needs assessments, and impact analysis will be essential for building knowledge about the target group and the relevance of the interventions. Additionally, the project leader will need to maintain effective communication and collaboration with other volunteer-oriented initiatives within Dansk Flygtningehjælp, supporting local development and the implementation of specific interventions for the target group.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate documented experience in project management, preferably within larger organizations. A relevant academic background is essential, along with extensive knowledge and experience in volunteer-based initiatives. Familiarity with grant-funded projects, including reporting and collaboration with external evaluators, is required. Experience working with refugees and integration in Denmark, particularly concerning pregnant women and families with young children, is highly desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary, as well as proficiency in budget monitoring and reporting. Candidates should possess excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Personal impact, innovative thinking, and a development-oriented mindset are also important attributes for this role.

Educational Background:
A relevant academic degree is required for this position, which may include fields such as social work, public health, or project management. The educational background should provide the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to effectively manage the partnership project and engage with the target population.

Experience:
Candidates should have significant experience in project management, particularly in contexts related to social services, integration, and community development. Experience in leading projects that involve collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including governmental and non-governmental organizations, is essential. Familiarity with the challenges faced by refugees and ethnic minorities in Denmark will be an advantage, as will experience in implementing programs aimed at improving health and well-being among vulnerable populations.

Languages:
The primary working language for this position is Danish, and candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills in Danish. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly those spoken by the target population, would be considered an asset but is not mandatory.

Additional Notes:
The position is full-time, with a weekly working time of 37 hours. The employment will commence on September 1, 2026, and is subject to the applicable collective agreement between Dansk Flygtningehjælp and AC. The role will require nationwide travel within Denmark, as the project will operate in various local areas.
