Job Overview:
The role of the Volunteer Fundraiser is to support the Educate a Girl – Change a Life Kenya Initiative, which aims to improve the lives of vulnerable children and youth, particularly girls, by providing access to quality education and empowerment programs. Volunteers will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, creating engaging content for campaigns, and promoting these campaigns through various digital platforms. The ideal candidates should have a strong understanding of online fundraising and be able to leverage social media to increase awareness and drive donations. This position requires creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to engage effectively with donors and supporters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing fundraising strategies and outreach plans to maximize campaign effectiveness.
• Create compelling fundraising content, including donor appeals, impact stories, social media posts, and campaign updates that resonate with potential donors.
• Promote the fundraising campaign through various digital platforms, engaging online communities, supporters, and potential donors to foster a sense of involvement.
• Support donor engagement activities, including communication, stewardship, and donor appreciation to maintain strong relationships with contributors.
• Identify opportunities to expand the campaign's reach through partnerships, influencers, and peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives.
• Monitor campaign performance, track engagement and fundraising results, and provide progress updates and recommendations for improvement.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess demonstrated experience in fundraising, resource mobilization, and crowdfunding. A strong understanding of online fundraising platforms is essential, along with the ability to contribute strategically to the design and implementation of fundraising campaigns. Volunteers should also have an active and engaging social media presence to effectively leverage digital platforms for campaign promotion.

Educational Background:
