Job Overview: The Operations Associate position at UNHCR involves a variety of functions related to operational support, reporting, and project planning within a designated geographical area. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Operations Associate include reviewing operational data and ensuring that regional and country operations plans are correctly set up. The incumbent will create reports and conduct analyses using various data management tools such as COMPASS, Cloud ERP, and Power BI. They will assist in training staff on these systems and provide administrative support for program activities, including processing financial transactions and procurement actions. The Operations Associate will contribute to the preparation of plans and reports for donor funding, maintain records of contributions and commitments, and gather information to support operational analysis. Additionally, the role involves enforcing compliance with UNHCR's global strategies and protocols, managing risks, and supporting decision-making processes. The incumbent will also be responsible for supply chain and logistics duties, including procurement planning and contract management, and will serve as Officer-in-Charge in the absence of the Head of National Office.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Operations Associate position must possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma, or two years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree or higher. Essential qualifications include in-depth knowledge of COMPASS, Cloud ERP, and Power BI, as well as an understanding of IPSAS. Desirable qualifications include training in design" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">program design, monitoring and evaluation, and completion of UNHCR learning programs. Candidates should also have strong IT skills, particularly in data management and resource planning, and familiarity with UNHCR's operational rules and procedures.

Relevant fields of education include Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, and Law. Certifications in these areas are considered essential for the role.
