Job Overview:
The Reporting Support position is crucial for the Sindh Water and Agriculture Transformation Project (PCMU-SWAT) within the FAO Technical Assistance Team. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and coordinating reporting, documentation, and knowledge management functions. This role emphasizes capturing and synthesizing program progress related to sustainable agriculture, including irrigation modernization, agricultural production systems, crop protection, and climate-smart practices. The Reporting Support will ensure the timely preparation of high-quality technical and progress reports, policy briefs, and knowledge products, facilitating data-driven analysis to inform decision-making. Additionally, the position involves multi-stakeholder coordination and documentation of crop sector strategies aimed at enhancing productivity and livelihoods for small- and medium-scale farmers, particularly women, within the SWAT project framework.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Reporting Support will undertake a variety of tasks, including drafting regular reports in consultation with the Team leader, officers, and Lead Technical Officer (LTO). The incumbent will prepare periodic and final project reports, support mission arrangements, and systematically update project information materials such as Fact Sheets, FAQs, and data tables. Maintaining close collaboration with partners and the PCMU is essential to ensure smooth information exchange among project stakeholders. The Reporting Support will also collect articles, case studies, and best practices for evidence gathering, compile these into suitable formats for external audiences, and prepare regular reports on activities, outputs, and outcomes as required.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in English Studies, Business Administration/Management, or a related field relevant to the organization. Additionally, a minimum of three years of experience in report writing or consolidating project results is required. The role necessitates a working knowledge of English, Urdu, and Sindhi, and candidates must be nationals of Pakistan.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree in a relevant field such as English Studies, Business Administration, or Management. It is important that the degree is obtained from an institution accredited or recognized in the World Higher Education Database (WHED).

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have at least three years of relevant experience, specifically in report writing or the consolidation of project results. This experience should demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate project outcomes and engage with various stakeholders.

Languages:
The mandatory languages for this position are English, Urdu, and Sindhi. Proficiency in these languages is essential for effective communication and reporting within the context of the project.
