Candidates should have a proven track record of working on projects that address climate change impacts and resilience strategies, preferably in the Central and South Asia regions. International experience is highly valued, as it demonstrates the ability to navigate diverse environmental and cultural contexts.
Languages: Proficiency in English is mandatory for this position, both in written and verbal communication. This is essential for effective collaboration and knowledge sharing within ADB and with external partners. While English is the primary language required, knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly if they are relevant to the regions where ADB operates.
Additional Notes: This position is a fixed-term appointment with the possibility of renewal, initially for a period of up to 3 years or until the Normal Retirement Date (NRD), whichever comes first. ADB may choose to renew the appointment based on various factors, including the need for the specific skills and experience of the staff member, funding availability, and performance.
