The estimated workload involves reviewing approximately 23,000 words of machine-generated text, which may require substantial editing or even full retranslation, depending on the quality of the initial translation. The timeline for this task is flexible, with an estimated completion time of 2-3 weeks, allowing for collaboration with the volunteer to establish a realistic schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and proofread translated RCCE-IM training materials for linguistic accuracy and clarity.
• Ensure that the Russian versions of the materials maintain a natural flow and are culturally appropriate for the target audience.
• Collaborate with the WHO/Europe team to understand the context and purpose of the materials being reviewed.
• Provide feedback on the quality of the translations and suggest improvements where necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• Native-level proficiency in Russian, with excellent writing and editing skills.
• Strong understanding of linguistic nuances and cultural context in Russian-speaking regions.
• Experience in proofreading or editing translated materials, preferably in the health or education sectors.
• Familiarity with RCCE-IM topics and terminology is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Educational Background:
A degree in linguistics, translation, communications, or a related field is preferred. Additional qualifications in public health or a related area would be beneficial, particularly for understanding the context of the materials being reviewed.

Experience:
Candidates should have prior experience in proofreading or editing, particularly with translated texts.
