Duties and Responsibilities: The Talent Acquisition Partner will have a variety of responsibilities, including:
Recruitment Management: Overseeing talent hiring activities in alignment with business priorities, collaborating with HR Business Partners and hiring managers, and ensuring compliance with recruitment policies.
Candidate Management: Designing and delivering a professional candidate journey, building talent pipelines, and leveraging market insights for effective sourcing.
Recruitment Analytics and Process Improvement: Analyzing recruitment data to identify efficiency opportunities and ensuring informed strategic workforce decisions.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with various stakeholders to drive alignment and impactful hiring outcomes, managing external service partners, and mentoring junior team members. This role requires occasional travel within Europe and involves working with multiple stakeholders across different functions.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a strong track record in managing recruitment processes and achieving effective hiring outcomes. Experience in specialized labor markets, particularly in engineering, scientific, or technical fields, is highly desirable. Strong organizational and coordination skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively with various stakeholders in a complex environment are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information, and experience in data analytics would be an asset.
Educational Background: A master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, Psychology, or a related field is required for this position. Alternatively, candidates with a bachelor's degree and an additional four years of relevant professional experience may also be considered. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of talent acquisition and the specific needs of ESA.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of four years of directly relevant professional experience in recruitment, particularly within organizations that operate in specialized labor markets. Candidates should have a proven ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and deliver high-quality hiring outcomes. Experience with digital HR recruitment systems, such as SAP SuccessFactors, is also beneficial.
Languages: The working languages of ESA are English and French, with a good knowledge of one of these languages being mandatory for the position. Knowledge of another language from a Member State would be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate effectively in a diverse workplace.
Additional Notes: This is a fixed-term appointment with an initial duration of two years, which may be extended up to a maximum of eight years based on performance and organizational needs. The position is classified within the grade band A2-A4, with the possibility of being filled at A1 level if the selected candidate has less than four years of relevant experience. The recruitment process may include selection tests, and successful candidates will undergo basic screening before appointment.
