Job Overview:
The position involves contributing to the effective implementation of the TiSSTAT project in the CARICOM region. The contractor will support budget automation, conduct country assessments, develop databases, and provide technical coordination with national counterparts. The role also includes operational support for project implementation, training, and decision-making processes. The contractor will work closely with technical experts and national statistical offices to ensure the successful deployment of the TiSSTAT system in partner countries, particularly in Saint Lucia and Saint Kitts and Nevis. The position is home-based, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements, and is expected to start as soon as possible for a duration of one month.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The individual contractor will be responsible for several key tasks under the supervision of the project manager. These include providing technical support and training during the TiSSTAT project implementation, assisting in the design and delivery of country trainings, and coordinating with national statistical offices. The contractor will also support the organization of a data cleaning workshop in Geneva, participate in technical meetings, and prepare meeting agendas and follow-up notes. Additionally, the contractor will assist in internal project coordination, track progress across multiple workstreams, organize internal meetings, and support the manager in preparing visual materials for meetings. Drafting meeting reports and analytical summaries aligned with discussions and decisions will also be part of the responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree (Master's) in finance, economics, statistics, international relations, development studies, public administration, or a related field. A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience in analysis" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">financial analysis, data analysis, and project monitoring or follow-up is required, preferably in an international or regional development context. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom and Teams is essential. Experience with financial reporting, budget tracking, and data entry is desirable, along with familiarity in organizing meetings and preparing minutes.

Educational Background:
The educational requirement for this position is an advanced university degree, specifically a Master's degree, in fields related to finance, economics, statistics, international relations, development studies, or public administration. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of the project and effectively contributing to its implementation.

Experience:
The position requires at least one year of relevant professional experience. This experience should ideally be in areas such as financial analysis, data analysis, and project monitoring or follow-up.
