This position requires a strong leader who can assist the Director in managing the division's activities, ensuring that the digital workplace is effectively utilized by personnel across the organization. The Deputy Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of various IT systems and services, including the ERP ecosystem and collaboration platforms, while also leading projects related to the modernization and digital transformation of corporate IT systems. The role demands a strategic mindset to advise on IT governance and standards, ensuring that the organization can deliver its programs effectively. The Deputy Director will also be responsible for fostering a collaborative work environment and empowering unit leaders to achieve divisional results.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Deputy Director will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including leading the daily operations of the FAO Digital Workplace, managing a portfolio of IT projects, and providing strategic oversight for the division. Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership abilities, negotiation skills, and analytical capabilities, as well as experience in managing large teams and working in fast-paced environments. A solid understanding of digital transformation in agrifood systems is also essential.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes an advanced university degree, specifically a Master’s degree or equivalent, in fields such as management, information technology management, computer science, or information systems. Experience:
