The goal is to enhance the ability to anticipate and respond to the talent needs of strategic partners within the United Nations system, particularly those with a recurring demand for technical and programmatic profiles in the region. Agencies such as UNOPS, IFAD, and PAHO regularly post professional opportunities related to key technical and programmatic areas. By systematically analyzing these vacancies, trends in talent demand can be identified, including recurring profiles, areas of specialization, contractual modalities, and geographical locations where the highest number of opportunities are concentrated. This information will facilitate the development of more proactive and evidence-based strategies for talent acquisition and segmentation, allowing the Talent Acquisition team to strengthen the alignment between the supply of talent and the recurring needs of these strategic partners.
Duties and Responsibilities: The purpose of this assignment is to support the Talent Acquisition team of the UNV Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean in identifying and analyzing trends in talent demand linked to strategic partners such as UNOPS, IFAD, and PAHO. The selected individuals will conduct an online analysis of vacancies published by these agencies at the regional level to identify patterns and trends in talent demand. This analysis will include identifying recurring technical and programmatic profiles, as well as the countries and cities with the highest concentration of positions, predominant contractual modalities, and the most in-demand areas of specialization. Additionally, the assigned individuals will map the main dissemination channels used by these agencies, including professional platforms, sectoral networks, universities, technical associations, and social networks where professional opportunities are shared. This work will contribute to systematizing primary talent sources and strategic acquisition channels, generating inputs that will strengthen the construction of anticipatory talent segments aligned with the recurring demand of these strategic partners.
