Job Overview: The position aims to strengthen the Talent Acquisition strategies of the UNV Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean. The selected individual will focus on improving the ability to identify and utilize strategic channels for talent dissemination and recruitment in the Southern Cone, particularly in Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay. Given the increasing need for segmented and evidence-based strategies for attracting talent, it is crucial to better understand where recurring partners post opportunities and what platforms, professional networks, and digital spaces are utilized by the most sought-after profiles to search for job opportunities. An updated analysis of these channels will optimize vacancy dissemination strategies, strengthen institutional presence in relevant spaces for specialized talent, and expand the regional pool of eligible candidates for future assignments.
Duties and Responsibilities: The selected individual will support the Talent Acquisition team in identifying and analyzing the main channels for talent dissemination and recruitment in the Southern Cone. This includes analyzing where recurring partners post vacancies and which platforms or networks are most frequently used by the most sought-after professional profiles in the region. The individual will also map relevant actors and institutions, including universities, professional associations, non-governmental organizations, sectoral networks, digital communities, and active social networks that can serve as strategic spaces for disseminating opportunities. The results of this work will enhance segmented vacancy dissemination strategies, expand the regional talent pool, and improve the Talent Acquisition team's ability to reach professional profiles in the Southern Cone.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, with a focus on market analysis and talent acquisition strategies. They should be adept at using various digital tools and platforms for research and analysis. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders, showcasing excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing environments are also essential.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field is required. A master's degree in a relevant area would be an advantage. Candidates should have a solid understanding of talent acquisition processes and strategies, as well as familiarity with the labor market in the Southern Cone region.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field. Experience in conducting market analysis and mapping talent channels is highly desirable. Familiarity with the Southern Cone labor market and previous work with international organizations or NGOs would be beneficial.
Languages: Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, as the position requires communication with local partners and stakeholders. Proficiency in English is also required, and knowledge of Portuguese would be considered an asset, given the regional context.
Additional Notes: The position is expected to be full-time, with a focus on contract duration that aligns with project needs. The role may involve some travel within the Southern Cone region to engage with partners and stakeholders.
