Job Overview: The Team Leader position is a full-time, permanent role based in Darwin, where the successful candidate will work as part of the Leadership and Program Delivery teams. The primary focus of this role is to support and empower staff while overseeing multiple programs, including Homelessness, Student Advocacy, and Youth Diversion. Duties and Responsibilities: The Team Leader will be responsible for supporting and supervising approximately 8 staff members, ensuring effective coordination and implementation of programs related to Homelessness, Student Advocacy, and Youth Diversion. The role includes holding a small caseload of complex Student Advocacy cases, providing case management and one-on-one advocacy for children's inclusion in education at Northern Territory Government schools. The Team Leader will also be tasked with liaising and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and funding partners, leading program reporting, and overseeing program delivery in accordance with key performance indicators. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing team to achieve collective goals and positive outcomes for clients.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Team Leader position must possess a Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, or an equivalent qualification, along with significant demonstrated experience in a similar role within the sector.
