Job Overview: The Team Leader position in Wadeye is a full-time, fixed-term role that is set to conclude at the end of June 2026, primarily covering maternity leave. The successful candidate will lead the Intensive Family Support Services team, focusing on delivering evidence-based parenting programs to families and children with complex needs. The position involves a Fly in Fly Out arrangement from Darwin to Wadeye, with a proposed schedule of three weeks in the community followed by one week in Darwin. Duties and Responsibilities: The Team Leader will be responsible for a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
Leading and managing the program team to ensure high performance and effective service delivery.
Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to enhance positive outcomes for families and children.
Prioritizing the monitoring and evaluation of program activities, focusing on therapeutic engagement and safety planning.
Providing regular coaching and professional supervision to team members.
Collaborating with the Regional Manager to manage program budgets and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
Ensuring that the program adheres to the principles of child safety and protection.
Engaging with families in case management roles, particularly in diverse and disadvantaged communities, including remote Indigenous communities.
Traveling between Darwin and Wadeye as required for program activities and team support.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Team Leader position must possess several key qualifications, including:
