Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the multimedia and social media communication efforts of the RCO. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing script proposals and production plans for multimedia content that align with the UN's objectives.
  • Producing and post-producing multimedia materials for dissemination across various channels, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Supporting the identification and implementation of strategies to increase engagement across social media platforms, thereby enhancing the UN's visibility and outreach.
  • Scheduling social media posts that are aligned with key topics and current events relevant to the UN's mission.
  • Collecting metrics and evaluating the performance of social media campaigns to assess their effectiveness and impact. Through these responsibilities, the intern will gain valuable experience and contribute to the UN's communication efforts in El Salvador.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this internship, candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with a field of study closely related to the internship's focus. While professional work experience is not required, candidates should possess strong organizational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in standard software applications, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.
