Job Overview: The position of Coordinateur.ice Subvention & SERA involves overseeing and coordinating the services responsible for project writing and monitoring within the mission. The individual in this role will ensure the relevance of project proposals and compliance with the procedures of both the donors and SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI). This position serves as the primary contact for the mission regarding contractual management and accountability obligations. The coordinator will develop action plans related to monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (SERA) in accordance with SI's operational framework, ensuring that all team members understand and implement these plans effectively. The role is critical in addressing the challenges faced by the mission, including maintaining donor intelligence, securing funding, and managing a significant number of active grants.
Duties and Responsibilities: The main responsibilities of the Coordinateur.ice Subvention & SERA include:
Leading the coordination of project writing and monitoring services, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and SI procedures.
Acting as the primary liaison between the mission and headquarters for all contractual and accountability matters.
Developing and implementing action plans for monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (SERA) in line with SI's operational framework.
Familiarizing oneself with all donors associated with the mission and taking charge of project proposal writing and reporting.
Structuring a MEAL/SERA strategy and supporting field teams in autonomously writing projects and reports.
Reviewing and simplifying monitoring tools and ensuring project managers are responsible for their completion.
Addressing the challenges of maintaining donor intelligence and securing funding for the mission's operations.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a degree in Political Science or a humanitarian/social training background. Additionally, they should have experience in the French humanitarian sector, with a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience and knowledge of the French financial environment. Experience in a similar position is also required, with 0-2 years being acceptable. Technical skills in donor intelligence, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL), as well as financial understanding related to fundraising for associations in France, are essential. Furthermore, candidates should demonstrate strong writing and communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, and experience in partnership and consortium work.
Educational Background: A degree in Political Science or a related field in humanitarian or social studies is required for this position. This educational background should provide a solid foundation for understanding the complexities of humanitarian work and the necessary skills for effective project management and coordination.
Experience: The position requires candidates to have 3-4 years of experience in the French humanitarian sector, with a strong understanding of the financial environment. Additionally, candidates should have 0-2 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating their capability to manage grants and partnerships effectively.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory for this position, as it is the primary language of communication. Proficiency in English is also required, as it is often used in international contexts. Knowledge of additional languages such as Romanian, Spanish, or Italian would be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

The role is based in Marseille, France, and offers a salary starting from €3,316 gross per month, depending on experience. The organization allows for remote work up to 12 days per month.
