Duties and Responsibilities: The Media and Communications Assistant will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: assisting in the implementation of the IOM Lao PDR Media and Communications plan; contributing to outreach efforts to raise awareness of IOM's work; maintaining relationships with stakeholders; coordinating with project staff to provide communications support; drafting and producing communication materials such as press releases and newsletters; managing social media content; supporting the development of communication materials in local languages; assisting in youth-focused digital engagement; disseminating targeted materials for vulnerable communities; providing logistical support for campaigns; ensuring compliance with IOM branding and visibility standards; and engaging in duty travel as required for project activities.
