Job Overview: The Deduplication Platform System Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the centralized deduplication platform implemented by the Cash Consortium of Yemen (CCY) and UNHCR, which is part of the Yemen Cash and Markets Working Group (CMWG). This platform is designed to enhance data integrity and interoperability among multiple agencies while ensuring compliance with data protection standards. The coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and development of the platform, ensuring secure hosting and optimal performance. The role involves close collaboration with technical teams and partners to ensure system reliability and adherence to agreed policies. The coordinator will be seconded to UNHCR and will report to the Information Management Officer or relevant manager, working closely with various technical units within UNHCR and other partner organizations.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Deduplication Platform System Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

Oversee releases, patches, upgrades, and integration with partner applications, while implementing disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security & Data Protection: Enforce security protocols, manage identity access, and ensure compliance with data protection frameworks. Monitor access and system transactions to detect anomalies.
Technical Coordination & Support: Act as a liaison between field users, partners, and UNHCR HQ technical units, providing Tier 2+ support and coordinating defect resolution with developers.
Enhancements & Quality Assurance: Lead testing cycles for new modules, contribute to roadmap planning, and track system usage metrics.
Training & Capacity Building: Conduct training for operational and partner staff and manage user provisioning.
Governance & Compliance: Support data governance structures and ensure alignment with interoperability standards set by inter-agency agreements.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. They should have a minimum of 3–6 years of experience in system administration, DevOps, or platform management, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and containerized environments. Technical skills in identity access management, network security, database administration, and monitoring tools are essential. Familiarity with API integration, microservices architecture, and agile development practices is also required. Certifications in AWS, security (e.g., CISSP), ITIL, or DevOps are advantageous.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering. A Master’s degree is preferred, indicating a higher level of expertise and knowledge in the field.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 3–6 years of relevant experience, which may vary depending on the grade level. Candidates should have a solid background in system administration, DevOps, or platform management, with specific experience in managing cloud infrastructure and technical systems.
Languages: Proficiency in English and Arabic is mandatory for this position, as effective communication in both languages is essential for coordinating with various stakeholders and partners.
Additional Notes: The contract length for this position is until the end of July 2026, with the possibility of renewal based on funding availability. The position is classified as a non-managerial role and is designated as a remote-working position, with potential travel to Amman. The start date is as soon as possible, and salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment.
