Job Overview: The Management Services Officer position at WFP is crucial for contributing to the planning and delivery of high-quality, client-focused services that align with WFP’s strategic objectives. Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Management Services Officer position include:
Advanced University degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Human Resources Management, or Engineering. Alternatively, a First University degree with additional years of related work experience and/or training in relevant fields.
Two or more years of progressively senior level managerial experience post-advanced degree or five years post-first degree in a relevant business stream.
Expertise in resource planning, budgeting, and allocation.
Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills.
Capacity to collaborate across functions and organizations.
Commitment to environmental sustainability in service delivery.
Experience in one or more Management Services lines of business.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess an Advanced University degree in fields such as Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Human Resources Management, or Engineering. Alternatively, candidates with a First University degree and additional relevant work experience or training will also be considered. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of office management and administration within the context of WFP's operations.
Experience: The position requires candidates to have two or more years of progressively senior level managerial experience if they hold an advanced degree, or five years of such experience if they hold a first degree. This experience should be in a relevant business stream, with a focus on general administrative and management services.
