Job Overview:
As the Field Lead for the INTO-MAMI – ECHF Project, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the achievement of project objectives. This involves coordinating and reporting on all project activities while providing technical guidance and advice to staff and implementing partners. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that the project adheres to best practices and continuously works towards enhancing the impact of its benefits for the communities served. You will be responsible for organizing and leading the implementation of project activities, ensuring that they align with CRS program quality principles, donor requirements, and good practices. Your coordination and relationship management skills will be essential in mobilizing local actors and promoting project activities and impact, ultimately contributing to improved nutrition outcomes for mothers and children.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include organizing and leading the implementation of all assigned project activities as outlined in the detailed implementation plan. You will ensure that learning accompanies project activities throughout the project cycle and support accountability by coordinating project evaluation activities. Additionally, you will analyze implementation challenges, report inconsistencies, and adjust plans as necessary. You will coordinate relationships with local project stakeholders, oversee inspections of project sites, track resource use through budget reviews, and support capacity building and technical support activities. Furthermore, you will ensure project documentation is complete and assist in preparing trend analysis reports and documenting case studies. Leading technical assessments will also be part of your responsibilities to monitor community needs and adjust programmatic priorities accordingly.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, Public Health, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred. You should have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in community development, mobilization, and management of MAMI, CMAM, and MIYCN-E projects in emergencies, particularly in Northeast Nigeria. Experience in conducting nutrition assessments and understanding nutritional surveillance and information systems is essential. Strong communication skills, flexibility in challenging working conditions, and proficiency in report writing, budget review, and concept note development are also required. Familiarity with participatory action planning and community engagement is advantageous, along with proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office packages.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, Public Health, or a related field. A Master’s degree in similar fields is preferred, indicating a higher level of expertise and understanding of the complexities involved in nutrition and public health initiatives.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, particularly in community development and the management of nutrition-related projects in emergency settings. This experience should include direct involvement in MAMI, CMAM, and MIYCN-E projects, demonstrating a solid understanding of the challenges and strategies necessary for effective program implementation in the field.

Languages:
English is a mandatory language for this position, and a fluent working knowledge of Hausa is considered an added advantage. Proficiency in these languages will facilitate effective communication with beneficiaries and stakeholders, ensuring that project objectives are met and that the needs of the community are addressed appropriately.

Additional Notes:
This position may require travel up to 40%, and the successful candidate will have supervisory responsibilities over Partner Nutrition officers, CRS CAT officer, and MEAL officer. The role is integral to the agency's mission, which emphasizes integrity, continuous improvement, and accountability.
