Job Overview: The Analyst position at WJCF involves providing strategic and analytical support to the Tuberculosis program leadership. The role is crucial for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of high-impact TB interventions, particularly in active case finding. The Analyst will lead data collection, monitoring, and analysis, generating actionable insights that inform evidence-based decision-making. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. The Analyst will also support various priority projects, including assessments of diagnostic technologies and market dynamics, making this role integral to the success of TB elimination efforts in India.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Analyst will be responsible for several key duties, including: supporting the formulation and implementation of the TB program in alignment with government priorities; ensuring high-quality program design by integrating lessons learned and best practices; developing data collection tools for informed decision-making; analyzing facility and community-level data to identify intervention opportunities; staying updated on policy developments and preparing briefs; supporting demand generation and supply chain management; assisting in program monitoring and proposing solutions; understanding the ecosystem of donors and partners; scoping new opportunities and creating pitch documents; coordinating project outputs related to execution and compliance; and developing presentations and reports for stakeholder dissemination. Additional responsibilities may arise as needed.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in fields such as management, public health, economics, or social work. Experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. High technical proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required, with experience in advanced analytical tools considered an advantage. Strong analytical skills, the ability to synthesize information, and excellent communication skills in English and Hindi are essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Familiarity with the Indian public health system and experience working with government stakeholders are advantageous.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in management, public health, administration, economics, business, social work, sociology, or population studies is required for this position. This educational background provides the necessary foundation for understanding the complexities of public health initiatives and the analytical skills needed for the role.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. Candidates with experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or the pharmaceutical industry will be favored. Familiarity with the Indian public health system and experience working with government stakeholders will also be considered beneficial, as these experiences will enhance the candidate's ability to navigate the complexities of the role effectively.
