Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Research Fellow, your primary responsibilities will include conducting research in experimental physics within a chosen CERN research group. You will contribute to CERN's experimental physics program by utilizing its large-scale scientific instruments and collaborating with physicists and engineers on studies of particle interactions. Additionally, you will develop and pursue your research interests within the framework of the Fellowship, ensuring alignment with CERN's scientific objectives. Your role will also involve presenting and discussing research results effectively within the scientific community, both independently and as part of collaborative projects.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong background in experimental particle physics or a closely related field. The Research Fellowship typically offers a contract duration of 24 months, with the possibility of extension up to 36 months for outstanding candidates. The position is fully onsite in Geneva, Switzerland, with a weekly working hour requirement of 40 hours. The fellowship provides a monthly stipend ranging from 7004 to 7425 Swiss Francs, tax-free, depending on the candidate's qualifications. Additional benefits include 30 days of paid leave per year, comprehensive health insurance coverage for the fellow and their family, and a relocation package based on individual circumstances. Candidates must be nationals of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State, with a few exceptions possible annually.
