Job Overview:
The ET Temporary position within the Treasury sector of the World Bank involves providing a wide range of executive and office management functions to the Treasury Product, Knowledge, and Research (TREPK) team. The role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the team, which is responsible for managing significant financial assets and providing advisory services to various stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to assist in coordinating meetings, managing schedules, and providing administrative support to senior management. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and discretion. The Treasury department has a global footprint, and the role may occasionally require working outside standard hours to meet the needs of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the ET Temporary include providing comprehensive administrative support to the TREPK Manager and the TREAA Director's office. This involves coordinating schedules, managing travel arrangements, handling correspondence, and maintaining office administrative systems. The individual will oversee adherence to office policies, coordinate deliverables with external vendors, and manage resource allocation tasks. Additionally, the role includes supporting recruitment efforts, assisting with onboarding new staff, and providing general support to visitors and guests. The ET Temporary will also be responsible for managing office supplies, coordinating events, and performing ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisors, particularly during busy periods or workflow changes.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma with three years of relevant experience, or a BA/BS Degree with at least two years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong organizational and administrative skills are essential, along with excellent writing skills in English. The ability to prioritize tasks, demonstrate initiative, and adapt to new developments in policies and technology is crucial. The candidate should also have a proven track record of managing confidentiality and possess strong personal ethics and judgment. Proficiency in MS Office products and the ability to learn new applications quickly are required, along with effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a High School Diploma or a BA/BS Degree. Candidates with relevant experience in administrative roles or office management are preferred, as well as those who have demonstrated the ability to handle complex tasks and maintain high-quality standards in their work.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of three years of experience for candidates with a High School Diploma or at least two years of experience for those with a BA/BS Degree. Experience in administrative support, office management, or related fields is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English. Additionally, knowledge of Spanish, French, or Portuguese is considered a plus, which may enhance communication with diverse stakeholders and contribute to the team's effectiveness in a global context.

This is an Extended Term Temporary position with a contract duration of one year.
