Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for a range of tasks that support the work of the Office of the SRSG-VAC. Key responsibilities include monitoring developments related to efforts to end violence against children, assisting with administrative tasks, organizing conferences and meetings, taking notes, and writing summaries of discussions. Interns will also conduct research, update country profiles, and prepare for country visits. A significant aspect of the role involves strengthening child participation by preparing child-friendly documents and documenting youth-led initiatives. Interns may accompany team members to meetings with UN delegates and assist in the preparation of public information materials for the 15th Anniversary of the Mandate. Additional functions may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Candidates should either be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent) or be in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor's level).
