Job Overview:
The consultant will play a crucial role in advancing inclusive education initiatives under the 'Accessible School for All' (ASA) project and the national anti-bullying programme in Poland. This position involves providing technical and coordination support to UNICEF and its partners, including the Ministry of National Education (MoNE), the Educational Research Institute (IBE), and the Centre for Education Development (ORE). The consultant will manage partnerships, ensure alignment of technical inputs, and facilitate knowledge-sharing and capacity-building activities. The role requires organizing workshops and events to scale the anti-bullying programme nationally, developing monitoring frameworks, and preparing progress reports to inform future programming. The consultant will also lead knowledge management efforts by producing technical briefs and capacity-building materials to support educators in creating inclusive and safe learning environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Partnership Management: Act as the primary liaison between UNICEF, MoNE, IBE, and ORE, managing partnerships and ensuring alignment of technical inputs with project objectives. Conduct at least 10 coordination meetings and manage the partnership with IBE to ensure timely delivery of outputs. Coordinate with ORE to provide technical support for the national anti-bullying programme, leading at least 10 advisory board meetings and developing training materials.
  • Technical Coordination: Support MoNE in planning and implementing additional support services under the ASA project, providing technical leadership for anti-bullying interventions. Organize knowledge-sharing events and workshops to scale the anti-bullying programme nationally.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain monitoring frameworks for ASA and anti-bullying activities, prepare periodic progress reports, and document lessons learned.
  • Coordination and Communication: Facilitate regular coordination meetings among stakeholders, maintain clear communication channels, and provide timely updates.
  • Knowledge Management: Support the development of technical briefs and knowledge products to disseminate evidence and promote good practices.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Pedagogy, or a related field. At least 5 years of relevant work experience in project management/coordination, including IT projects, preferably related to e-learning. Previous experience in digital platform administration and knowledge of e-learning course creation platforms is essential. Familiarity with UNICEF or UN organizations is an asset.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Pedagogy, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in education or project management would be advantageous.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required, particularly in project management and coordination roles. Experience in managing educational projects, especially those focused on inclusivity and anti-bullying initiatives, is highly desirable. Familiarity with digital learning platforms and e-learning content creation is also important.

Languages:
Fluency in Polish and English is mandatory, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is considered an asset, enhancing the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
