Job Overview: The position of Adjoint(e) aux programmes (Nutrition) at WFP is crucial for supporting the organization's nutritional response in the Grand Kasaï region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Duties and Responsibilities: The Adjoint(e) aux programmes (Nutrition) will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the effective implementation and monitoring of nutrition programs. Key responsibilities include: organizing regular monitoring missions to assess the management of food and non-food items by partners, evaluating distribution processes in nutrition activities, and providing technical recommendations for program improvement; planning and organizing monthly follow-up meetings and interventions with cooperating partners, including nutrition training sessions; supporting and strengthening the capacities of partners in the implementation of interventions related to the treatment of moderate acute malnutrition and prevention efforts; entering nutrition agreements into WFP's monitoring tools and taking action within the global WFP information systems; managing the pipeline of nutritional products and coordinating distribution and storage plans; reconciling data across various systems and validating monthly distribution reports; preparing delivery processes for food based on distribution plans; producing monthly, quarterly, and annual activity reports; collaborating closely with program coordination and other UN agencies, as well as participating in technical nutrition platforms; and performing other tasks as assigned by management.
