SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL (SI) is an international humanitarian aid organization that has been providing assistance to populations affected by armed conflicts and natural disasters for over 40 years. Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is designed to assist the Partnership & Operational Development Referents (RPDO) and the Service Manager in executing their tasks at the geographical desks and the Partnership & Operational Development Service (SPDO). The intern will focus primarily on private donors and decentralized French cooperation. The role involves providing support to country offices and gaining knowledge about SI's various programs and areas of expertise. Interns will learn about the humanitarian and geopolitical context of the regions involved, master tools related to managing different cycles of grants, projects, and partnerships, and ensure effective communication between various stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will assist the RPDO and the Service Manager with the following tasks: supporting country offices in managing grants and partnerships, particularly in developing project proposals and reports for donors; providing administrative support necessary for the management of programs/grants; ensuring compliance and engagement with donor intelligence, including producing documents, formats, or internal capitalization notes, and participating in relevant meetings; facilitating internal coordination among different teams.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a higher education degree (bac +5) preferably in project management, humanitarian studies, political science, or international relations, with knowledge of water issues, food security, or rehabilitation. A genuine interest and motivation for humanitarian work and the nonprofit sector are essential, along with a willingness to work in the field in the short term. Previous international work experience is appreciated. Candidates must demonstrate excellent writing, synthesis, and spelling skills, as well as critical thinking, autonomy, rigor, responsiveness, organization, efficiency, versatility, and a strong work ethic. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email communication (Outlook) is required.

Educational Background:
A higher education degree (bac +5) is required, ideally focused on project management, humanitarian studies, political science, or international relations. Knowledge of issues related to water, food security, or rehabilitation is preferred.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have some level of experience, particularly in international settings. Previous work or internship experience in humanitarian organizations or related fields will be beneficial.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of French is essential given the location and the nature of the organization. Additional languages may be considered an asset but are not required.

Additional Notes:
The internship is based at the headquarters of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in Clichy (92), accessible via the Mairie de Clichy metro station. The internship is subject to a mandatory internship agreement. Compensation is set at €5.60 per hour, calculated based on actual hours worked each month (approximately 154 hours per month, equating to 22 days of 7 hours each). Public transport costs are covered at 50% by SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL, and interns receive meal vouchers worth €8.90 per day worked, with SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL contributing 60%.
