The intern will work under the direct supervision of the Programme Management Officer and will be involved in various aspects of the office's operations. They will support the implementation of fundraising activities and outreach initiatives, draft background notes and documents related to fundraising and administrative obligations, and prepare inputs for publications and speeches for the Director. Additionally, the intern will provide general administrative support, prepare monthly reports and meeting minutes, and assist with other management-related outputs as necessary. The role may also involve updating internal databases and planning tools, ensuring that the office's operations run smoothly and efficiently. Interns will be expected to demonstrate initiative and adaptability in their tasks, contributing to the overall goals of the office.
Required Qualifications: Applicants must possess a high school diploma and meet one of the following criteria: be enrolled in or have recently completed a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent) or be enrolled in or have recently completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). While professional work experience is not required, applicants should have a field of study closely related to the internship. Proficiency in standard software applications, particularly in preparing spreadsheets, is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and beliefs.
