Job Overview: The Resource Planning and Administration (RPA) Senior Analyst position is designed for a dynamic and innovative individual who will play a crucial role in supporting a wide range of administrative functions within the IDB Group's Country Office in Trinidad and Tobago. This role encompasses responsibilities in human resources management, finance, budget and contract management, and change management. The RPA Senior Analyst will work closely with the Resource Planning and Administration Specialist to ensure that the Country Office operates efficiently and effectively, aligning its strategies with the overall business needs. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment. The analyst will be expected to contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies, support recruitment and onboarding processes, and assist in performance management initiatives. Additionally, the role involves monitoring budget execution, executing accounting functions, and coordinating corporate matters, including procurement and event management.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the RPA Senior Analyst include, but are not limited to: supporting the implementation of HR strategies and plans; assisting in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and diversity initiatives; collaborating with supervisors and employees to implement new policies; contributing to training and knowledge-sharing activities; monitoring budget execution and communicating deviations; executing accounting functions such as processing invoices and payments; reconciling accounts; managing corporate matters including procurement and travel; coordinating events and seminars; and ensuring effective communication and dissemination of event materials. The analyst will also be responsible for identifying needs for goods and administrative services and mitigating risks associated with budget management.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field relevant to the responsibilities of the role. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in using various software applications for budgeting and accounting is essential, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace and be able to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, human resources, or other relevant fields is required for this position. This educational background provides the foundational knowledge necessary for understanding the complexities of human resources management, financial oversight, and corporate administration, which are critical to the role of the RPA Senior Analyst.
Experience: The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in managing human resources, budgeting, accounting, corporate management, and general administration. Additional Notes: The position is offered as a national staff contract for an initial duration of 36 months, with the possibility of renewal upon mutual agreement. Candidates must be eligible to work in Trinidad and Tobago without the need for sponsorship. Additionally, applicants should not have any family members working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouses.
