Job Overview: The Senior Recruitment Coordinator position is pivotal in delivering high-quality, timely, and inclusive recruitment services throughout the entire talent acquisition lifecycle, specifically tailored to the needs of the Middle East and Asia. This role is integral to the strategic evolution of the World Bank Group's Global Talent Acquisition Team, focusing on operational excellence, enhancing candidate experience, and employing data-driven decision-making in daily activities. The Senior Recruitment Coordinator will report to a Global Talent Acquisition Team Lead based in Washington, DC, while also collaborating closely with Recruitment Officers located in Riyadh and New Delhi. The position is designed to ensure that recruitment processes are efficient, transparent, and aligned with the organization's diversity goals and workforce plans, ultimately contributing to the overall mission of the World Bank Group.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, which includes overseeing requisitions from job posting to onboarding. Key duties include coordinating job-launch meetings, scheduling interviews, conducting assessments, and managing candidate communications through the recruitment system. The coordinator will also administer background screenings, prepare appointment letters, and facilitate onboarding workflows. Engaging with stakeholders is crucial, as the coordinator will act as a liaison to ensure smooth communication and timely updates between Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers. Additionally, the role involves sourcing candidates, conducting resume reviews, and leveraging various platforms to enhance candidate quality. The coordinator will track requisition statuses and recruitment metrics, ensuring compliance with documentation and audit requirements. Continuous process optimization is also a key responsibility, with a focus on automation and quality control.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of four years of professional experience in recruitment operations, HR administration, or managing high-volume transactional processes. Strong business-level proficiency in English is essential, along with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats. A demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service and manage multiple stakeholders with responsiveness and professionalism is required. Proven experience in coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes, including scheduling and documentation, is a distinct advantage. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required, and familiarity with recruitment systems is a plus. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly in tracking metrics and maintaining accurate records, are also important. Candidates should be adept at managing candidate communications to ensure a positive recruitment experience and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
