Job Overview:
The Executive Associate position at UNICEF is a critical role that provides procedural communications, operations, and administrative support services to enhance the efficiency of the supervisor's daily activities and the section they oversee. This role requires the Executive Associate to represent the supervisor in various administrative matters, ensuring smooth communication and coordination of tasks. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Executive Associate include managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails, and telephone calls on behalf of the supervisor. Administrative support includes organizing the office's administrative work, arranging appointments, and facilitating high-level meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes. Required Qualifications:
To qualify for the Executive Associate position, candidates must have completed secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the field of work. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is considered an asset. Candidates should possess a minimum of six years of relevant administrative or clerical work experience. A bachelor's degree may replace three years of work experience, while a master's degree may replace an additional two years. Intermediate proficiency in English is required, along with training and experience in using MS Office applications and other relevant software.

Educational Background:
Candidates are required to have completed secondary education, with additional technical or university courses in a relevant field being preferred. A bachelor's degree from a recognized institution is considered an asset, and higher degrees may substitute for years of required experience.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of six years of relevant administrative or clerical work experience. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field may have three years of experience waived, while those with a master's degree may have an additional two years waived. This experience should demonstrate the ability to manage administrative tasks effectively and support senior staff.

Languages:
The mandatory language requirement for this position is intermediate proficiency in English. Knowledge of another UN language or local languages of the duty station, such as Quechua or Aymara, is considered an asset and may enhance a candidate's application.
