Job Overview: As a Strategy Officer within the Office of the Chief People Officer, you will be instrumental in advancing the strategic priorities of the People team and ensuring that the division operates with clarity, alignment, and impact. Reporting directly to the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Deputy Director of Strategy, Planning, and Management, and collaborating closely with the Chief of Staff, your role will involve bridging strategy incubation with leadership advising. This position requires sound judgment, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities, as you will be responsible for managing complex, cross-functional workstreams. Your responsibilities will include overseeing strategy projects, developing key deliverables for the Chief People Officer, and ensuring that travel and communications are strategically aligned with the division's objectives. You will also be tasked with translating strategic priorities into actionable plans and tracking progress against established goals, all while fostering inclusive collaboration across various stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities: Your duties will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including partnering with leadership to advance strategic priorities, leading the design and execution of high-priority strategy projects, and collaborating with colleagues to develop strategic frameworks and tools. You will support the creation of impactful materials for executive leadership forums and ensure that the People perspective is represented in a compelling manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a strategic communications plan for the People Division, developing clear materials that reflect the Chief People Officer's priorities, and managing the CPO's travel portfolio. Your role will also involve supporting operational excellence by improving systems and processes that enhance coordination and performance across the division.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess at least 7 years of progressive experience in strategy, management consulting, organizational development, or a related field. A proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects and coordinating deliverables for senior executives is essential. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, along with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, are required. Candidates must demonstrate the capacity to handle confidential information with discretion and possess strong organizational skills to balance multiple priorities effectively. Experience in global or matrixed organizations is preferred, and an advanced degree in business, public policy, organizational psychology, or a related field is highly desirable, although equivalent experience will be considered.
