Job Overview:
The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in the Global Health division, specifically focusing on the TB and HIV research and development team. This position involves collaborating closely with Directors and Deputy Directors to drive strategic initiatives and ensure effective execution of projects. The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing decision frameworks, conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses, and translating insights into actionable strategies. This role requires co-creating materials for annual planning and strategy reviews, facilitating learning sessions, and synthesizing findings into clear recommendations. The position is based in Seattle and reports to the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Deputy Director of Strategy, Planning & Management, ensuring high-quality execution of the TB and HIV R&D initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager's responsibilities include:
  • Strategy Development & Implementation: Collaborate with the Deputy Director and leadership team to develop coherent strategies, represent the R&D team in various forums, and design and implement strategies for the R&D team.
  • Program Management & Planning: Design and facilitate key management processes, lead complex projects, establish work plans, monitor achievements, and ensure alignment across strategy deliverables.
  • People Leadership: Lead and develop a team of Senior Program Coordinators, provide mentorship, and improve team efficiency through process design and tool implementation.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration & Business Operations: Design and lead special projects, support business processes, and serve as a liaison to various departments on financial reporting and related systems.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree or equivalent experience in business administration or a related field. Significant experience in leading projects within a top-tier strategy consulting environment or a similar role is essential. Experience in global health or development, as well as product development portfolio management, is required. Mastery of strategy development and complex project management is crucial, along with a proven track record of inclusive leadership and team building. Outstanding written and oral communication skills are necessary, as well as financial acumen, including budget development and operational management.

Educational Background:
A Master's degree or equivalent experience in business administration or a related field is required for this position. This educational background is essential to ensure that the candidate has the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage complex projects and contribute to the foundation's mission in global health.

Experience:
Candidates should have significant experience leading projects in a top-tier strategy consulting environment or an equivalent role. Experience in global health or development is highly desirable, as well as experience in product development portfolio management. The ability to manage complex projects from strategy development to execution is critical, along with a history of inclusive leadership and team building.

Languages:
