This role involves engaging in research, content development, and the organization of knowledge-sharing events, thereby supporting the overall mission of the OHCHR to provide quality information and knowledge services in the area of human rights. Interns will have the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the UN, develop their skills in knowledge management, and contribute to meaningful projects that impact human rights advocacy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the Dynamic Knowledge and Library Team. These duties include assisting in the production of knowledge-sharing materials such as videos, tutorials, and library guides, as well as participating in communication campaigns and knowledge dissemination initiatives. Interns should demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to the fast-paced environment of the United Nations, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of human rights and knowledge management.

Knowledge of another official UN language, such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish, is considered an asset and may enhance the intern's ability to contribute to the team's work and engage with a broader range of stakeholders.

Additional Notes:
Interns are not financially compensated by the United Nations, and they are responsible for their own travel, visa, accommodation, and living expenses. It is important for interns who are not citizens or permanent residents of Switzerland to obtain the necessary visa and work authorization prior to starting the internship.
