Job Overview:
The IT Platform Administrator will play a crucial role in overseeing ACAPS's digital platforms, focusing on the design and management of workflows within information management systems, particularly Airtable. This position requires a blend of technical platform administration and user support, ensuring that digital tools are effective and user-friendly. The administrator will coordinate with external IT providers and drive the adoption of digital tools across the organization. The role is hybrid, allowing for both in-office and remote work, and is essential for bridging the gap between technical services and staff needs, ensuring that the organization's digital platforms are well-governed and meet user requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The IT Platform Administrator will be responsible for several key areas: User Lifecycle Management (25% of the role) involves facilitating onboarding and offboarding processes across various platforms, acting as the internal point of contact for user requests, and delivering training and documentation for staff on tools like Airtable and Microsoft 36
  • Centralized Software Administration (40%) includes serving as the primary administrator for Airtable, designing and building bases for data collection, managing permissions and governance for M365 collaboration tools, and coordinating with external IT providers for backend tasks. Workflow Process Optimization (25%) focuses on identifying automation opportunities, supporting teams in improving efficiency, and auditing platform usage to prevent redundancy. Lastly, Vendor Liaison & Coordination (10%) entails acting as the primary liaison with external IT providers, communicating user needs, and managing service updates.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong experience in building workflows and data pipelines using relational information management systems such as Airtable, Smartsheet, or similar platforms. A demonstrated understanding of relational database principles, including efficient data structuring, is essential. Experience in administering M365 collaboration tools, particularly SharePoint and Teams, is required. The ability to train non-technical users and create clear documentation is crucial, along with experience in user lifecycle management. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills are mandatory for this role.

Educational Background:
While specific educational qualifications are not detailed, a background in information technology, computer science, or a related field is likely preferred. Candidates should have a strong understanding of digital tools and platforms, as well as experience in a technical support or administration role.

Experience:
The position requires a strong level of experience in managing digital platforms and workflows, particularly with relational information management systems.
