Job Overview: The Senior Program Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the Gavi, Partners, and Special Initiatives sub-team within the Immunization Program Strategy Team (PST). This position involves managing the foundation's grant to the Gavi Alliance, engaging with the Gavi Alliance Board, and coordinating the foundation's priorities for Gavi engagement. The officer will work closely with technical and donor stakeholders, particularly Gavi Alliance Board members, to shape the implementation of Gavi's 2026-2030 strategy. The role requires proactive collaboration across the foundation to address programmatic challenges and ensure effective stakeholder engagement. The Senior Program Officer will also provide strategic analysis, prepare briefings for senior foundation engagement, and ensure that key deliverables align with the foundation's strategic goals. Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Program Officer will serve as the foundation's focal point for Gavi engagement, leading the strategy and coordination of Gavi-related activities. The officer will prepare for Gavi governance deliberations, drafting briefs and engaging with external stakeholders. A minimum of 7 years of experience in public affairs or global health, particularly in immunization, is required.
