Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Associate Civil Engineer will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: providing procedural support to ensure safety and quality in structural designs; evaluating proposed design solutions against specified requirements; preparing comprehensive design documentation, including drawings and specifications; contributing to technical feedback for process improvement; assisting in design review checklists and reports; ensuring compliance with UNOPS policies and standards; performing quality control and design reviews for various infrastructure projects; utilizing computer-assisted engineering and design software; and maintaining effective communication with team members and project teams. Additional Notes: The contract type for this position is a Retainer - Local Individual Contractor Agreement, with a contract level of ICS 07 and a duration of 12 months, subject to the availability of funds and satisfactory performance.
