Job Overview:
The Senior Officer, Integrated Portfolio Management will play a crucial role within the Maternal, Newborn, nutrition" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Child Nutrition & Health (MNCNH) Team. This position is designed for a strategic integrator who will lead the execution of strategies, ensure team alignment, and support grant oversight while fostering systems integration across a diverse portfolio. The role requires collaboration with Program Officers, Senior Program Officers, and Deputy Directors to ensure the effective delivery of innovative health solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product development and a passion for enhancing maternal and child health outcomes. The position is characterized by its complexity and cross-functional nature, requiring the ability to translate vision into actionable execution plans.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Portfolio Integration and Planning: Act as a strategic thought partner to team leaders, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities in the global health innovation landscape. Shape and update execution plans that align with MNCNH strategies, coordinate annual planning processes, and synthesize insights for diverse audiences.
  • Cross-Team Execution and Systems Integration: Drive coherence across product types and workstreams, identify synergies, and collaborate with other teams to implement integrated product development plans.
  • Grant and Investment Management: Co-lead or manage grants focusing on impactful product development, oversee investment planning, and engage partners to ensure execution discipline.
  • Operational and Organizational Excellence: Partner with management functions to ensure rigorous financial planning and support the rollout of tools to enhance decision-making and coordination. Model best practices in integration and accountability.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree or equivalent experience in management, science, medicine, or engineering. A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy, operations, or program delivery is required, preferably within biotech, pharma, health R&D, or digital health sectors. Additionally, candidates should have at least 5 years of experience managing drug or biologics R&D efforts through various lifecycle stages, proven success in portfolio oversight, and strong grant management experience within complex global health ecosystems. Excellent communication, facilitation, and partnership-building skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, matrixed environments.

Educational Background:
A Master’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields such as management, science, medicine, or engineering is required for this position. This educational background is critical for understanding the complexities of health product development and management.
