Job Overview: The position of Work-study involves supporting the accounting service under the supervision of the accounting service manager. The assistant will work closely with four field accounting officers and the headquarters accountant. The primary expectation from this role is to assist in the monthly and annual accounting tasks, ensuring that the missions can efficiently manage their accounting data. The assistant will perform preliminary processing to minimize latency before missions can resume control over their accounting data. Additionally, the assistant will provide support to the field accounting officers during peak workloads, particularly in the absence of a team member or during the year-end accounting closure.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Work-study position include:
Supporting the field accounting officers by receiving and recording accounting packs on the server.
Verifying documents transmitted by missions, such as inventories, bank reconciliations, incident reports, and exchange rates.
Integrating backups containing mission accounting data into the SAGA software for balance and accounting entry verification.
Making modifications requested by the mission under the supervision of the field accounting officers.
Conducting accounting verifications using automated verification tools.
Checking specific accounts such as depreciation, guarantees, and grants received in the field to facilitate processing by the field accounting officers in the centralized NAV software.
Performing additional tasks as deemed appropriate by the field accounting officers. Depending on the profile, the assistant may also support the reconciliation of third-party accounts in SAGA and NAV and take charge of the complete accounting processing for certain missions.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Work-study position include:
A diploma in accounting/management (minimum Bac +2).
Proficiency in computer tools, particularly Excel and accounting software.
Mastery of English (both oral and written is a plus).
Training on SAGA and NAV software will be provided.
Knowledge of accounting principles.
Autonomy and rigor in work.

Additional Notes: The Work-study position is based at the headquarters of Solidarités International in Clichy (92), accessible via the Mairie de Clichy metro station. The role allows for remote work up to four days per month, in accordance with the current telework charter and manager approval. The apprenticeship contract can last between 12 to 24 months, with remuneration according to applicable regulations. Additional benefits include an 80% coverage of health insurance, a 50% reimbursement of public transport costs by Solidarités International, and meal vouchers valued at €8.90, with a 60% contribution from the organization. Employees are entitled to 2.0833 days of paid leave per month.
