Job Overview: The position of Stagiaire (Intern) in Content Management for the WFP's Wellness and Culture division in Kinshasa, DRC, involves supporting the development and management of content for an online platform and mobile application dedicated to employee well-being. The intern will play a crucial role in gathering information from various sources to create relevant content that informs WFP employees and their families about local resources and institutions that promote well-being. This internship is designed for students in their second year or higher of university studies in fields such as communication, journalism, or related areas. The intern will gain valuable experience in digital content management while contributing to the overall mission of enhancing employee well-being within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for several key tasks, including:
Developing content by collecting information from various focal points and credible sources to create informative materials about the cities where WFP operates in DRC. This content will include details about institutions and structures that directly or indirectly contribute to employee well-being.
Managing digital platforms by administering the website and mobile application dedicated to employee well-being, ensuring regular updates and publication of relevant content.
Assisting with any additional tasks as needed to support the Wellness and Culture division's objectives. The intern will also be expected to demonstrate creativity and organization in producing engaging content that resonates with the target audience.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess a university degree in communication, journalism, or a related field, with a strong understanding of digital platforms. While a degree in other disciplines may be considered, candidates must demonstrate relevant knowledge of digital content management. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is essential, along with the ability to manage and update content on digital platforms. Experience or interest in multimedia content creation and editing (such as video and infographics) is highly desirable. Candidates should exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. A sensitivity to workplace well-being issues is also important for this role.
Educational Background: The ideal candidate should be a student in their second year or higher of a bachelor's or master's program in communication, journalism, or a related field. While prior work experience is not mandatory, any experience related to content management, digital communication, or multimedia production will be advantageous.
