The role involves providing logistical and administrative support, including procurement of goods and services necessary for project activities. The individual will work under the guidance of Shelter/WaSH Technical Officers and Team Leaders, ensuring that all processes align with the organization's policies and donor requirements. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of the organization and the communities it serves.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include adhering to NRC policies and guidelines, assisting in the implementation of support functions according to the action plan, preparing status reports for management, ensuring proper filing of documents, and promoting improvements in administrative procedures. Specific responsibilities involve assisting Technical Officers with beneficiary registration, post-distribution monitoring, and verification of assistance distributions. The role also includes supporting administrative coordination among NRC departments, conducting field trips to liaise with beneficiaries, ensuring the production of relevant documents for Finance and Procurement, and assisting with the filing and archiving of project documentation in Office 36
  • Additionally, the individual will prepare documentation packages for processing program payments, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess experience in logistics, procurement, or administrative roles within humanitarian or recovery contexts. Previous experience in complex and volatile environments is essential, along with the ability to process documentation in both hard and electronic formats. Knowledge of data collection tools and their application is also required. The candidate should demonstrate basic knowledge of the operational context in which the organization works, as well as familiarity with administrative and financial procedures necessary for processing program payments. Experience in preparing contracts and maintaining electronic file structures is highly desirable.
