Job Overview: The HR Analyst position at EBRD involves working under the supervision of the Associate Director, HR Business Partner, and collaborating with other HRBP team members to provide operational support in delivering client-facing HR services. The role requires the analyst to be a data domain expert, facilitating data-informed decision-making within the Human Resources and Organizational Development (HROD) department. The analyst will utilize business intelligence tools such as Cognos, Tableau, and Alteryx to visualize data, analyze trends, and derive insights that support decision-makers. The position is integral to the implementation of the Bank's HR People Plan and requires a deep understanding of data domains, business processes, and systems that maintain HR data.
Duties and Responsibilities: The HR Analyst will support the HRBP team in various cyclical activities, including Strategic Workforce Planning, Talent Review, Performance Management, Pay Review, and Engagement. The analyst will collaborate with HR centers of expertise to implement HR initiatives and assist with day-to-day activities related to position management. Responsibilities include liaising with HR Operations teams for timely processing of personnel management decisions, providing problem-solving assistance to HR Business Partners, and supporting organizational change initiatives. The analyst will also be responsible for record-keeping to ensure sound administration of Bank personnel, documenting policy decisions, and maintaining an accurate audit trail. Additionally, the analyst will prepare and analyze HR metrics and KPIs, providing insights into trends and supporting evidence-based decision-making. The role includes conducting design reviews for HR reporting capabilities and driving continuous improvement in data quality and analytics capabilities within the team.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have demonstrated experience as an HR Adviser or in HR Operations, with a good understanding of HR policies and guidelines. Experience in a data and analytics environment is essential, along with analytical and data manipulation skills. The ability to communicate insights effectively and build relationships across teams is crucial. Candidates should possess excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Fluency in English, both written and oral, is mandatory, and knowledge of another language is considered a plus.
Educational Background: A degree in a relevant discipline is preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field is acceptable. Candidates should have a strong educational background that supports their analytical and HR capabilities.
Experience: The position requires candidates to have experience working in a multi-national environment with a dispersed workforce. Previous experience using business intelligence tools such as Cognos, Tableau, or Alteryx is preferred, as well as familiarity with SAP HR systems.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of an additional language is advantageous and may enhance a candidate's application.
