Job Overview:
The Assistant PPH Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the Private Partnerships and Philanthropy (PPH) Section of UNHCR's Private Sector Partnerships Service (PSP). This position involves engaging with PPH donors and managing relationships to secure funding and support for UNHCR initiatives. The Assistant will assist in preparing pitches, presentations, proposals, and reports aimed at PPH donors, as well as managing existing partnerships by drafting donor reports and planning donor missions. The role requires conducting market research to inform PPH initiatives and supporting logistics for events. The Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining records of partnerships and relationships, updating content on internal platforms, and supporting communication and visibility plans with PPH donors. This position is integral to the broader fundraising strategy of UNHCR in Brazil, which aims to develop high-value fundraising streams and establish long-lasting partnerships with key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree, or no experience with a graduate degree or doctorate. Essential qualifications include:
Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes an undergraduate degree in fields such as Marketing, Communications, Journalism, International Relations, Economics, Business Administration/Management, Social Sciences, or other relevant areas. A graduate degree or doctorate may also be accepted.
Experience:
The position requires relevant professional experience, particularly in corporate fundraising, business development, or partnership development within Brazil. Candidates should demonstrate a successful track record in securing corporate donations and multi-year partnerships, as well as experience in meeting or exceeding ambitious income goals. Previous experience in a UN field location or knowledge of humanitarian programming is desirable.
Languages:
Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory, along with proficiency in English. Knowledge of other UN languages is considered a plus. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in both languages, particularly in producing written materials tailored to donor stewardship.

- Supporting logistics for internal and external events, including skill-sharing sessions.
- Collaborating with administrative colleagues on procurement, administrative, and travel matters.
- Updating content on PSP's SharePoint platform to enhance internal communications.
- Assisting with information management and knowledge-sharing related to partnerships and philanthropy.
- Maintaining up-to-date records of partnerships, tracking income raised, and supporting data entry on Salesforce. 1
- Supporting the delivery of communications and visibility plans with PPH donors, including organizing logistics for content-gathering missions.
Required Qualifications:
