Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks that may include, but are not limited to: providing administrative support to the division; assisting in the preparation of official documents; contributing to social media outreach efforts; aiding in the building of partnerships with stakeholders; and providing logistical support for meetings and conferences. These duties are designed to enhance the intern's understanding of the workings of the UN and to develop their professional skills in a supportive environment. Interns will work under the supervision of a staff member, who will guide them in their tasks and provide mentorship throughout the internship period.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible for the internship: (a) be currently enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or (b) be currently enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). This ensures that interns possess a foundational level of education and knowledge relevant to the tasks they will undertake during their internship.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this internship includes either a graduate degree or a bachelor's degree. Candidates should be enrolled in a relevant field of study that aligns with the mission of ESCAP and the specific duties of the internship.
