Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Senior IT Assistant position should possess a Bachelor’s degree with no prior experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Preferred certifications include ITIL Foundation, Scrum, Azure DevOps, and Power BI/Power Apps/Power Automate. A strong knowledge of IT technologies, particularly the Windows platform, Microsoft Office, and networking methods, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong user support skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to professionalism in all interactions. Familiarity with IT Service Management and ITIL best practices is highly desirable, along with experience in Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps and Service Now.
Educational Background:
The educational requirement for the Senior IT Assistant position is a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Candidates with equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered. Additional certifications in ITIL, Scrum, Azure DevOps, and related technologies are preferred and will enhance a candidate's qualifications for the role.
Experience:
While no prior experience is required for this position, candidates with relevant experience in IT support or related fields will be preferred. Experience in customer service, particularly in a technology environment, is advantageous. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in teams using Scrum or similar frameworks will also be beneficial.
Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.

- Conducting diagnostics on business technology problems, particularly those involving multiple systems and platforms.
- Supporting the end-user environment by configuring new hardware, addressing virus alerts, and troubleshooting software issues.

- Disseminating information on common IT issues and tracking trends to proactively address recurring problems.
- Providing training sessions on IT tools and products to enhance staff awareness and usage.
