Job Overview: The Programme Policy Officer for Home-Grown School Feeding (HGSF) will play a crucial role in the implementation and management of WFP’s national school feeding programme in the Republic of Congo. This position is integral to the broader strategy of enhancing resilience among school-age children by providing nutritious meals sourced from local food systems. The officer will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the HGSF component, ensuring that it aligns with WFP’s Country Strategic Plan (CSP) and national school feeding strategies. The role requires a deep understanding of HGSF design and implementation, as well as the ability to manage partnerships with government entities, local authorities, and community stakeholders. The officer will also contribute to the institutionalization of HGSF within national frameworks, promoting sustainability and socio-economic development. Duties and Responsibilities: The Programme Policy Officer will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of all Home-Grown School Feeding activities.
