Trainees will then engage in a three-month placement with an international organization, concluding with a five-month assignment at the BMZ. This comprehensive training aims to enhance the trainees' competencies in program development and management within the context of international cooperation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
During the first practical phase, the trainee will provide substantive and organizational support to the steering structure in collaboration with political partners. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of subsequent phases of the project, conducting research activities, supporting public communication efforts, and participating in the planning and execution of activities related to social security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security in health care. The specific tasks for the subsequent phases will be developed throughout the trainee program, ensuring that the trainee gains a well-rounded experience in various aspects of health service improvement and project management.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree in medicine, public health, or economics, with a focus on public health, health economics, or health management. Essential knowledge in health financing and public health is required. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory. Additionally, candidates should have knowledge of development cooperation and some practical experience in a developing country. A willingness to relocate multiple times and work in different organizations is essential, along with intercultural competence. Practical experience in the form of internships is sufficient to meet the experience requirement.
Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a completed degree in a relevant field such as medicine, public health, or economics. Candidates with advanced studies in public health or health management are also encouraged to apply.
