Job Overview:
The position of IT-Anwendungsbetreuer*in focuses on the management and implementation of Talent Management Software (TMS) within the GIZ. The role involves close collaboration with various departments and external structures of GIZ to conceptualize, develop, and provide standard software solutions as well as custom developments. The TMS is being introduced as a Software-as-a-Service solution, with key objectives including the consolidation of personnel applications and the optimization of HR processes within an integrated solution. The successful candidate will be responsible for the introduction and implementation of the TMS, ensuring it integrates seamlessly into the existing IT landscape of GIZ, and will also manage testing, documentation, and ongoing support for the software.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties of the IT-Anwendungsbetreuer*in include the introduction and implementation of the TMS in close collaboration with the relevant departments. This involves conceptualizing and executing customer-specific adjustments, integrating the TMS into GIZ's existing IT landscape, managing test processes, and maintaining documentation. The role also includes providing support and further development for one or more modules within the TMS, including 2nd-level support. Additionally, the position entails release management and coordination of upgrade cycles, monitoring interfaces to other GIZ applications, participating in projects, and planning, executing, and coordinating the introduction of additional HR applications. The candidate will also be responsible for managing external service providers.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a completed university degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field, along with extensive relevant professional experience. A solid understanding of Talent Management Systems, particularly experience with Cornerstone, is essential. Candidates should have several years of experience in managing SaaS cloud systems and interfaces with other applications, such as SAP HCM. Experience in collaborating with departments, particularly in project and requirements management, is also required, ideally with knowledge of HR processes. The ability to manage external service providers, strong analytical skills, and a structured, responsible, and meticulous work approach are crucial. Candidates should demonstrate high initiative, teamwork, and good communication and presentation skills, with fluent German and good English language skills being mandatory.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a completed university degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field. This educational foundation is essential to ensure the candidate has the necessary technical knowledge and skills to effectively manage and implement the Talent Management Software.

Experience:
